A decent chap avoids an impossible future, but I can't make out the details on the hill.(ctrl++ doesn't help much)An amusing cartoon. However, I'm not sure that even the deeply Christian and humble Dr. Williams can be compared to the Crucified Christ - that's stretching credulity.Good luck to Archbishop Rowan in his return to the academic life. I look forward to reading more of his fine theology and subtle but profound thinking.Oh yes. The figure on the ground initially looked like it had been speared but it's only cleggs nose.Nice bloke, but he didn't half talk some twaddle.I'm not knowledgable about CofE hierarchy so can't identify the squabbling horde around the cross but I recognise the rancour and self-righteous rantings. What a sensible decision Rowan has made! I bet a truly conservative successor will be found and the CoE will sink into the background - no criticism of the government, no uneasiness over Occupy type events - and probably no gay or female bishops for the dwindling church here - while evangelical African Anglicans dominate the so-called Anglican Community. So gloria transit and all that.On the hill Clegg has been not so much crucified as made into the cross by his coalition Tory pals aided by Beaker.I miss the vultures - perhaps they've migrated to Devon.Light Cavalry Dave on Calvary with cross Cleggy.I'm not religious but I have always thought of Archbishop Rowan as a nice, decent person.
